Welcome to the 2022-2023 school year! As a Parent Choice school, each family must sign-up to help on one committee for the school year. Committee descriptions are below. You will choose your committee in the Orientation form below. In order to get your student’s schedule on July 28th, you must complete Orientation and pay your family contributions by July 26th. There is an option to purchase quad ruled composition notebooks through us. These notebooks are required in all Math and Science classes and can be purchased elsewhere, but if you don’t want to have to search for them, you can purchase through us and they will be in your student’s homeroom on the first day of class.

Committee Descriptions

Fundraising Committee Help with FJPO fundraising efforts.

Socials/Game Night Committee Help pass out/sell food and chaperone at 4 game nights throughout the year. Game nights this year are tentatively scheduled as: Pool Party (early September), Costume game night (late October), Stem Night (January/February), & Talent Show (late April). Commitment: 2 events

Library Committee Help screen books for the Jr High library. Direction will be given.

Firebird Wednesday Committee Help sell soda and snacks on Wednesdays throughout the school year from 12:00-12:30pm. Commitment: 1 Wednesday per month, may be asked to do more.

Staff Appreciation Committee – Donate items, help set-up staff appreciation events throughout the school year. The Jr High usually has these in December and May, although other needs may arise throughout the school year.

If you finish orientation before 8/2, we will email your studen’ts schedule upon completion (during school office hours). Curriculum Night is on Aug 2nd from 6-8pm. If you have any questions, please email [email protected]
